AAU Concluded the 23rd Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities

 

Al Ain University concluded yesterday the 23rd Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities, which was organized by AAU in cooperation with the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU) – Association of Arab Universities, in Al Ain Campus and lasted for three days, in the presence of 60 participants representing 40 Arab universities (Presidents, Vice Presidents, Deans of the Deanships of Student Affairs, Colleges Deans and Faculty members, where they discussed about providing training opportunities for students.

The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Sultan Abu Orabi, the Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, Prof. Ahmad Abdulatif Al-Qaisia –Director of the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU), Prof. Ghaleb El Refae –AAU President, Prof. Abdelhafid Belarbi –AAU Vice President (Al Ain Campus), Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs and the Arab universities representatives.

The forum drew different recommendations as follows: Promote student exchange among Arab universities in order to help students in training field and learn more about the other Arab universities experiences, Enhance exchanging of faculty members among Arab universities in order to promote scientific research and get benefit from the other Arab universities experiences, Emphasize the quality of the training programs that Arab university students receive, Finally to get benefit from the training centers to develop the study plans.

Prof. Abu Orabi provided his thanks to the Al Ain University and all participants, stressing on the importance to embrace and support such scientific conferences that is considered as an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss ideas between academicians and researchers.

For his part, AAU President Prof. El Refae expressed his delight with the cooperation between Al Ain University and the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU) – Association of Arab Universities, to host this forum for the first time, And his pride in the success of the forum, He also stressed on the university’s keen on applying the latest international trends in Education and Scientific Research to improve the quality of its academic programs and reach international standards.

Dr. Aburezeq added that the university is proud to host this forum for the first time at Al Ain University, which focus mainly on students, stressing on the university’s interest to support all students.
