Al Ain University celebrates the World Day for Tolerance
On the occasion of the World Day for Tolerance, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campus, launched an initiative “Tweet with us about tolerance”. The AAU students toured among the university’s departments to distribute cards and sentences about tolerance on a group of academic and administrative staff and students.
Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, expressed his happiness with this initiative which stressed on the deep commitment to humanitarian principles and promotes the values of tolerance and peace.
It is worth to mention that, the World day for Tolerance marked on 16th of November each year, where the United Arab Emirates celebrate it in recognition of the keenness of the UAE wise leadership to reveal the spirit of peace and tolerance.
