AAU students embody the values of belonging and tolerance at the “Our Life in the UAE” Forum

Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Al Ain University participated in the “Our Life in the UAE Forum” held under the theme “Reflections on the Love of the UAE,” organized by Watani Al Emarat Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, with the participation of a wide range of academic and community institutions.

This participation reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening its community engagement and promoting the values of national identity and tolerance. The University was represented by a select group of its students through the Tolerance Club, who delivered a series of purposeful, interactive activities that reflected a strong sense of belonging and loyalty to the United Arab Emirates.

The students’ participation was distinguished by presenting qualitative initiatives focused on good citizenship, positive coexistence, and national belonging, demonstrating the University’s commitment to preparing active and impactful students who contribute to serving the community.

The event was attended by Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Ain University, and Prof. Amer Qasem, Vice President of the University, reaffirming the academic leadership’s support for such national initiatives that strengthen students’ connection to their community and reinforce national values.

Al Ain University affirmed that its participation in such national events aligns with its vision of preparing a well-aware and qualified generation capable of contributing to sustainable development and embodying the human values upon which the UAE is founded.

The University also expressed its appreciation to the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence for organizing this forum, which provided an effective platform for knowledge exchange and strengthening community partnerships.
