Promoting Family Cohesion and Shared Responsibility to Strengthen Society
The Deanship of Student Affairs in Abu Dhabi participated in the sixth annual forum of the “Government as an Incubator for Tolerance” initiative, held under the theme “A Cohesive Family and Shared Responsibility,” and organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence to promote the values of tolerance and social cohesion.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan emphasized the vital role of the family in instilling values and addressing modern challenges, while praising Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for her efforts in supporting families and empowering Emirati women. The forum also included a workshop discussing conscious parenting, the role of technology, and the importance of family dialogue.
The event resulted in increased community awareness and the presentation of practical ideas to support family stability, highlighting that building a cohesive society is a shared responsibility between individuals and institutions.
