AAU President meets with the Freshmen Students and emphasizes the need for communicating with the university’s departments
Starting of the second semester of the academic year 2016-2017, the AAU President, Prof. Ghaleb El Refae met with the freshmen students within the “Freshman Welcoming Orientation”, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- and was attended by Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs, Deans, Academic and Administrative staff and the freshmen students.
Prof. Ghaleb Al Refae welcomed the new students expressing his happiness on students' joining to Al Ain University, who would be the focus of attention by the University Administration and staff. Moreover, the University seeks to provide services for the students to ensure a suitable atmosphere for studying.
The University’s President has pointed out that the University, through the development phase, has come a long way from the academic plans the various programs offered in six colleges, namely College of Engineering and IT, College of Pharmacy, College of Law, College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Business Administration and College of Communication and Media, in addition to getting the international accreditation for the colleges.
Also, the University has contract with an elite group of academic experts in various disciplines, which will reflect positively on academic outcomes sought by the student, providing at the same time the job market requirements from all disciplines.
He also emphasized the academic advising role for new students, In addition to the importance of listening to the professor's instructions.
