Fun Activities on National Sports Day
As part of the United Arab Emirates National Sports Day celebrations, Al Ain University organized an open sports day under the slogan "Emirates Unites Us," supervised by the Student Affairs Deanship in collaboration with the Sports Club and Volunteer Club at the Al Ain campus. Meanwhile, in the Abu Dhabi campus, it was organized in collaboration with the UAE Paralympic Committee, Al Ain Shooting, Equestrian, and Golf Club, and Abu Dhabi Club for People of Determination.
The activities of the open sports day included a diverse range of recreational sports activities and individual and team sports, such as football, shooting, fitness competitions, in addition to recreational and awareness activities aimed at promoting health and fitness and encouraging the adoption of an active and healthy lifestyle.
Several hospitals, health centers, sports facilities, and specialized restaurants in dietary systems in the country participated in this event.
The National Sports Day is considered a pioneering initiative aimed at promoting health and fitness, building bridges of communication and interaction between different communities, and enhancing the culture of sports, health, and social interaction in society.
