Conditions of Running for Elections or Appointments
- Should be a regular AAU student during the submission stage and throughout the Council session.
- Should not be an expected graduate during the academic year 2024 -2025.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty.
- Should hold good reputation and reputation and have not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or dishonesty..
- The candidate's university record should be free of any penalties or disciplinary warnings.
- Must submit the following official documents required for the nomination as per AAU instructions: (Emirates ID, Personal Photo, Recent Transcript, and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct).
- Should apply to election or/and appointment to the Deanship of Student Affairs according to the candidate's study campus within the specified.
- In case of withdrawal of candidature, the application must be submitted to the Deanship of Student Affairs according to the candidate's study campus within the specified time.
- The candidate must attend related meetings to elections, appointments, and follow-up via one of the following channels: answering phone calls, AAU e-mail, or official social media platforms.
- Abide by AAU laws and instructions regarding the formation of the student council in terms of election or appointment.
