On the occasion of the World Teachers' Day .. AAU Honors the Distinguished Teachers
On the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- organized an event entitled “My Teacher, My Role Model” to honor the distinguished teachers, in the presence of Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs, elite of teachers from different public and private schools in UAE, such as: Al Ain Private Academy, Al Khazna Primary and Secondary School, Al Thaher Primary and Secondary School, Al Andalus Private Academy, and Al Dhafra Private School, in addition to a group of university and school’s students.
The celebration started with verses fragrant from the Holy Quran presented by student Aisha Abdullah from the College of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Then, Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Students Affairs, welcomed the teachers and students and congratulated them on the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day, stressing on their important role in the education field.
The celebration was divided into two parts, the first one was honoring the distinguished teachers by their students, where they thanked their teachers by beautiful words, presents and taking photos. In the second part, the Deanship of Student Affairs honored the outstanding teachers who have been selected by their school’s management by giving them appreciation certificates and souvenirs in recognition of their efforts in the society.
At the end of the celebration, the Deanship of Student Affairs thanked all the attendees and invited them for taking a group picture.
