AAU Celebrates the UAE Flag Day
The AAU family in its both campuses, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, celebrated the UAE Flag Day along with the UAE national anthem and an atmosphere of joy and pride.
The AAU celebration comes on the occasion of the “Flag Day” which marks on Third of November, when the UAE President H.H Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan became a President of the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, expressed the AAU family’s pride on this occasion where the flag is considered as a symbol of national identity and belonging, It also expresses the highest sense of peace, justice and forgiveness, affirmation of the love and loyalty and the soul sacrifice in order to remain it high and strong as the UAE’s people.
For his part, Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, congratulated the UAE on this occasion, stressing on the importance of loyalty to this country and the wise leadership, and on the keenness of Al Ain University to participate in this celebration, which reflects the belong to this country, he also praised the role of the UAE leadership in supporting the higher education institutions to be a pioneer in the field of education.
It is worth to mention that, Al Ain University is keen to keep up with all the national events and activities of the UAE as an expression of love and gratitude to this country and its founders.
