Awareness Lecture on the occasion of World Cancer Day
The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized an awareness lecture on the occasion of the World Cancer Day, in collaboration with Al Noor Hospitals Group and Mediclinic, presented by Dr. Rasha Ibrahim Qadeeh and was attended by academic staffs, administrative staffs and students.
Dr. Rasha briefed the meaning of cancer, talked about the cancer types and provided a detailed presentation on Cervical Cancer, which affects the patient when the cells begin to grow out of control to spread throughout the body. Pointing out that this case can be detected by (cervical scan).
Dr. Rasha explained how to avoid cancer, and the ways to take its vaccination.
At the end of the lecture, Dr. Iyad Abdulmajeed –Deputy Dean of Student Affairs- honored Dr. Rasha in recognition of her efforts.
