Awareness lecture on Electronic Extortion

In the presence of the AAU Vice President, Prof. Amer Qasem and a number of faculty members, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Social Support Centers (Abu Dhabi Police) organized a lecture entitled "How to Deal with Electronic Extortion" presented by Major Abdul Aziz Al Balushi - Director of the Victims Support Branch.
A number of university students from various disciplines participated in the event, especially students of the College of Law and students of the applied sociology program.
The lecture included an overview of social support centers, the types of electronic blackmail and its causes, how to deal with it, its side effects, and solutions that may contribute in getting rid of it.
