Health activities on the occasion of World Cancer Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University (Al Ain Campus) organized a health event on the occasion of World Cancer Day, in cooperation with Mediclinic Hospital (Al Ain Branch). The event included an awareness lecture on cancer, presented by Dr. Adel Sadiq from the College of Pharmacy, who talked about cancer, its causes, the factors that contribute to the disease and the types of cancer, stressing the importance of early detection of the disease, its stages of diagnosis, various treatment methods and ways to prevent it.
It is noteworthy that the event also included a variety of blood pressure and diabetes tests provided by Mediclinic Hospital.
