A Lecture to Enhance Students’ Etiquette, Protocol, and Leadership Skills
The Deanship of Student Affairs (Abu Dhabi Campus), in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, organized a lecture titled “The Art of Etiquette, Protocol, and Leadership for Distinguished Business Practices”, presented by Dr. Abdullatif Al-Azazi. This event comes as part of the university’s efforts to enhance students’ personal and professional skills and promote refined professional behavior across various work environments.
The lecture covered several key topics, including an introduction to etiquette and protocol, and the importance of aligning professional conduct with cultural traditions and religious values. It also addressed essential protocol leadership skills such as first impressions, body language, the art of handshaking, and both verbal and nonverbal communication.
The session further explored business etiquette in modern workplaces, including professional appearance, reception etiquette, meeting conduct, and digital communication. The lecture concluded with a segment on delegation reception protocol, focusing on preparation, reception procedures, and cultural protocol.
The workshop aims to strengthen confidence and professionalism in workplace environments, build a positive image for individuals and institutions, and equip students with practical skills that support their future success.
