Al Ain University Ranks Among the Top 30 Arab Universities in QS Arab Region Rankings 2027
Al Ain University (AAU) has achieved a new academic milestone by securing a position among the top 30 universities in the Arab region in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2027, reflecting its continued progress in academic and research performance and strengthening its competitive standing among higher education institutions across the region.
This achievement reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of education and research, developing a dynamic academic environment, and expanding its international engagement. These efforts align with AAU’s vision of achieving academic excellence and preparing qualified graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to meet future challenges.
The 2027 rankings revealed notable progress across several performance indicators. AAU advanced in the Faculty-Student Ratio indicator from 101st place in 2023 to 83rd in 2027, highlighting its continued efforts to strengthen academic support, enhance teaching quality, and provide students with a more supportive and engaging learning environment.
Furthermore, Al Ain University maintained its No. 1 position in the Arab region for International Faculty Ratio for the fifth consecutive year, from 2023 to 2027. This distinction underscores the diversity of its academic community and its success in attracting distinguished faculty members and experts from around the world, enriching the educational experience and fostering knowledge exchange and cultural diversity across its campuses.
In terms of research performance, the university also recorded an improvement in the Citations per Paper indicator in 2027 compared to 2026, reflecting positive progress in its research performance and ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and impact of its scholarly contributions.
