A Workshop about the “Labor Disputes” organized by AAU
In collaboration with the College of Law, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- organized a workshop entitled “Labor Disputes according to the Labor Department Procedures”, presented by a group of legal researchers from Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, most notably, Mrs. Najat Al Marboei, Mrs. Mariam Al Mamari and Mrs. Huda Al Badi, in participation of Dr. Fayez Al Nusair from the College of Law in AAU. The workshop was attended by Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs, academic staff from the College of Law, and college’s students.
The workshop talked about the procedures and mechanisms of finding a settlement of labor disputes, the legal difficulties faced by the ministry in resolving labor disputes, the nature of the dispute that is directly converted to judiciary, the mechanism of providing the workers' complaint, in addition to discuss some of the legal provisions in the regulation of the UAE Labor Relations.
The end of the workshop was opened for questions and discussions, as the Dean of Student Affairs presented appreciation certificates to the guests in recognition of their efforts.
